Case Study #12: “Incurable” Crohn’s Disease Cured with High-Dose Vitamin D3 Therapy – 5 People Who Cured Lifelong Crohn’s Disease

It is hard to watch TV these days without seeing a commercial for a drug for Crohn’s disease being advertised as effective in most people but then you read a whole laundry list of nasty and sometimes life-threatening side effects.

“CROHN’S DISEASE IS INCURABLE AND A LIFELONG CURSE FOR ALL WHO GET THIS TERRIBLE DISEASE!  “

At least that’s what the medical community would have you believe. Later I will tell you about 5 cases of people who have found an ACTUAL CURE for their Crohn’s, even one who had suffered from the disease for 50 years!

What is Crohn’s Disease??

Excerpted from Wikipedia……..

There are no medications or surgical procedures that can cure Crohn’s disease.[1”.

“Crohn’s disease is a type of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) that may affect any part of the gastrointestinal tract from mouth to anus.[2] Signs and symptoms often include abdominal pain, diarrhea (which may be bloody if inflammation is severe), fever, and weight loss.[1][2] Other complications may occur outside the gastrointestinal tract and include anemia, skin rashes, arthritis, inflammation of the eye, and tiredness.”

“Crohn’s disease affects about 3.2 per 1,000 people in Europe and North America.[5] It is less common in Asia and Africa.[15][16] It has historically been more common in the developed world.[17] Rates have, however, been increasing, particularly in the developing world, since the 1970s.[16][17] Inflammatory bowel disease resulted in 47,400 deaths in 2015[6] and those with Crohn’s disease have a slightly reduced life expectancy.[1] It tends to start in the teens and twenties, although it can occur at any age.[

“Crohn’s disease, like many other chronic, inflammatory diseases, can cause a variety of systemic symptoms.[1] Among children, growth failure is common. Many children are first diagnosed with Crohn’s disease based on inability to maintain growth.[31] As it may manifest at the time of the growth spurt in puberty, up to 30% of children with Crohn’s disease may have retardation of growth.[32] Fever may also be present, though fevers greater than 38.5 C (101.3 F) are uncommon unless there is a complication such as an abscess.[1] Among older individuals, Crohn’s disease may manifest as weight loss, usually related to decreased food intake, since individuals with intestinal symptoms from Crohn’s disease often feel better when they do not eat and might lose their appetite.[31] People with extensive small intestine disease may also have malabsorption of carbohydrates or lipids, which can further exacerbate weight loss”

Now here is the one little sentence in the long Wikipedia web page concerning Crohn’s disease:

“Crohn’s disease is more common in northern countries, and with higher rates still in the northern areas of these countries”

Hmmmm!!  What might this be telling us?

Vitamin D cures Crohn's disease

While I could not find a nice incidence vs. latitude chart for Crohn’s, I did find a nice one for the related disease Ulcerative Colitis.

Vitamin D cures Crohn's disease

Like many other diseases, the incidence of Crohn’s increases the further one moves away from the equator. Being further away from the equator means one lives under weaker sun, and one makes less vitamin D3 in their skin. (Vitamin D3 is NOT a vitamin. It is actually a tissue, bone and joint remodeling hormone that is only created when sunlight hits one’s skin. It was incorrectly classified as a vitamin when discovered because we can also get it from our diet). The evidence is telling us that Crohn’s disease is just another vitamin D3 deficiency disease, which should be easily curable with high-dose vitamin D3 therapy.

What does a year of high-dose vitamin D3 therapy cost? Well if you are a clever shopper and you buy vitamin D3 powder instead of pills, you can probably get a year’s supply of high-dose vitamin D3 (say 30,000 IU per day) for about $10!

Now what would it cost to treat your Crohn’s disease with Big Pharma’s drugs?

The actual cost per person varies widely according to the severity of the disease, whether you have insurance, and the particular structure of your insurance plan. But the annual cost of medical care for a patient with Crohn’s disease is estimated at nearly $19,000, according to the medical book Inflammatory Bowel Disease: Diagnosis and Therapeutics, and even those with insurance will pay for part of that cost because of plan deductibles and copays.

Various medications may be used to treat Crohn’s disease, from basic antibiotics to steroids to biologics like Remicade (infliximab). While a single prescription for antibiotics may not be too expensive, consider how quickly the costs will add up if it needs to be filled every month for years.

More significant is the insurance copayment for a biologic drug like Remicade, which can vary widely from plan to plan and can be as much as $2,000 to $4,000 each month, says Jackie Spencer, manager of public education at the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA).

And if you wanted to treat yourself with Humira, the biologic immunosuppressant, you would be forking out around $7400 a month if you had no insurance!! No wonder the health care industry is in such crisis!

So take your pick if you had no insurance and were stricken with Crohn’s disease. Big Pharma’s drugs for $19,000 a year or more with a long list of possible side effects, or you could first try high-dose vitamin D3 for $10 a year. Which would you choose?

Many of you might try the expensive drugs first thinking they must be good since they are so expensive. You might think that if a cure for Crohn’s at $10 a year is so cheap and easy then surely we would have known about it. How wrong you would be! Big Pharma is not in the business of finding cures – there is no money in a cure. And Big Pharma is definitely not in the business of testing and promoting unpatentable remedies – no profit here either! So high-dose vitamin D3 just languishes on health food shelves waiting for you to find it on your own!

As I have found out with many other diseases, a number of independent thinking people are getting miraculous results with the $10 a year vitamin D3 regimen. Let’s take a look at their stories, which were culled from the High-Dose Vitamin D3 case study search engine available at the website:

This book has helped me more than any health book I have ever read. For the last year I have had unbearable arthritic pains resulting in swollen hands, fingers and wrists, and pains in every joint and muscle. I could not sleep but was tired out all the time. I also have Crohn’s disease, which I have managed with a diet for over 50 years. Two weeks ago a friend sent me an article on this book. It made sense. I had a blood test and it came back as being adequate. I live in the UK. Measurements are different in the US. I thought that perhaps I didn’t need extra Vit D. I emailed Jeff who is extremely approachable and helpful and it appears that on the US scale my vitamin D levels were below even the reference range!! This is really criminal.

Immediately I started taking 4000 IU Vit D and also Vit K2. After 4 days I felt much better. On day 5 I took 12000IU and the pain dramatically decreased. I upped the dose to 16000 and again the same. I am now on 20000 and I have never felt so well and have only been taking it for just over a week. My energy is slowly increasing and I am now looking forward. I will write another review when I am further down the line to see if it helps with Crohn’s. I feel the research of this man has saved me 7 MONTHS DOWN THE LINE. I have now been on Vit D3 & K2 for the last 7 months. My severe arthritis has disappeared and my Crohn’s disease is being cured. I had not eaten bread for years and years so I decided to try some. I have been eating it for a month with no ill effects. If I did this before Vit D I would have had debilitating pain. The depression I suffered from for years has gone. This is a big thing for me. I feel fantastic. In fact I feel better than I have done in my whole life. I only wish I had Jeff Bowles’ book years ago.

How about Mark Fuller’s story>>

My Crohn’s Disease Is Cured

By Kurt W. Fuller on October 20, 2013

Format: Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase

I must say that I literally stumbled onto this book. But the title rang true with me, so I bought it (Kindle version) for a very low price.

Around age 53, I was diagnosed with severe Crohn’s disease. At the same time, I was diagnosed with prostate cancer. Though a number of different urologists were “foaming at the mouth” wanting to remove the prostate, I decided to try alternative medicine first (over the objections of everyone I knew).

Fortunately, I found a doctor (in a state halfway across the country) who practiced alternative medicine. He cured me of prostate cancer without surgery. However, he said that my Crohn’s was far more dangerous to me in the long run. I said that I had researched Crohn’s thoroughly on the internet and that every site called the disease “incurable.” He scoffed and said that my problem was a shortage of vitamin D.

At the time, I was taking 1,000 IU of vitamin D per day. The doctor recommended an increase to 2,000. When that didn’t work, he changed the dose to 4,000. Then he went to 5,000. Then 10,000. Then 15,000. At 15,000 I finally began to see improvement. After 3-4 years, my symptoms disappeared.

I’m now 59. Oh how I wish I’d seen this book years ago. I can see now that the strategy was good, but the doses were way too small. I have friends with Crohn’s who refuse to deviate from what “the doctor” says, despite their lack of success. Maybe if they read this book, they’d think differently. I couldn’t recommend any book more strongly than this one.

And then there are 3 more>>>

Hello Jeff,

I read your books about high-dose vitamin D3 and tried it out. I have Crohn’s disease. I found that if I take 20,000 IU D3 per day with 100 mcg K2, I no longer have diarrhea. I’m not sure if it affected the inflammation in my intestines, but I’m happy not to be running to a bathroom 12 times a day anymore.

Sincerely,

Lisa

The book has opened my eyes and when you research something on the Internet, all the statements that are made in this book are correct.

I am taking 10,000 drops daily in two drops and 1 tablet K2 daily.

I’ve been fighting for 1 year with an extreme Crohn’s disease thrust. I could not eat anything without having extreme pain. For 4 days I have no more pain, no matter what I eat. I cannot believe it myself yet, but I am totally happy about it. Besides, I had depression and refused to take anti-depressants and lo and they are gone. I feel extremely fit and happy.

The only side effect is that I sleep a bit worse, but that is in contrast to Crohn’s disease and the depression is nothing.

I would recommend it to anyone. Just try it out. I was skeptical myself but I have been taught a better one.

A Must Read in Conjunction with Orthomolecular Medicine For Everyone By Dr. Abram Hoffer

By johnp on 9 August 2015

Format: Kindle Edition

Before reading this book, I highly suggest a ‘Must Read’ is “Orthomolecular Medicine for Everyone” by Dr. Abram Hoffer. It will make reading Jeff’s outstanding book even more helpful to your health. PHD/MD Hoffer, and PHD/Nobel Laureate Linus Pauling developed the fields of Orthomolecular Medicine, Orthomolecular Psychiatry and Orthomolecular Nutrition. Orthomolecular Medicine uses nutrition and high doses of vitamins, minerals, amino acids, enzymes and sometimes natural hormones to treat diseases. Hoffer in fact used high doses of vitamin D3 to treat lupus, cancer, etc. in conjunction with other vitamins. However, he never really uncovered how high you might have to go, like Jeff did and the vitamin K2 and vitamin D3 paradox was not well understood when he developed Orthomolecular medicine in the 50s-80s. When vitamin D3/K2 are used with other cofactor vitamins and minerals, I suspect the healing will be even greater than Jeff reported. Thanks to Mr. Bowles pioneering work, I took my vitamin D3 dose from 10k IU a day to 40k IU and saw a remarkable healing of my Crohn’s condition.

So that’s it if you have Crohn’s disease, or any intestinal problem from Irritable Bowel Syndrome to Ulcerative Colitis. From what I have learned by being the sounding board for more than 1,000 high-dose vitamin D3 experimenters and their results, is that any chronic intestinal disease can be cured simply and easily with high-dose vitamin D3 therapy. I hope you can prove me wrong by trying your own high-dose D3 experiment and finding it has no effect on your Crohn’s disease. To date I have never heard of this, I have only heard about the miraculous relief Crohn’s sufferers quickly get from high-dose vitamin D3 therapy.

And finally, if you plan on performing your own high dose Vitamin D3/Vitamin K2 experiment  to treat your Crohn’s. IBD, ulcerative colitis  or other condition. You might want to consider buying bulk powder vitamins/hormones  rather than pills given the high doses involved  and the high cost of pills. For example Vitamin K2  can cost  $6,500 per gram if you buy Dr. Mercola’s pills, 30X the cost of gold!! If you buy pure bulk K2 powder  you can get it for just $15 per gram. It’s not just BigPharma who is ripping us off! Find out more from this article>>>>
