Yes I did see that lack of magnesium causes fainting and convulsions. Sometimes his seizures include talking deliriously without convulsions, sometimes he has convulsions but can respond to me telling him to squeeze my hand, I’ve been told these are non epileptic seizures and cannot be resolved with medications. Sometimes he just freezes up. I can see that stress causes seizures for him. After 6 years of taking epilepsy medications I believe the meds have caused magnesium deficiency. In tablets he’s taking 1200 mg magnesium glycinate over 3 doses daily, and 3/4 tsp Remag twice a day. He’s also using Life-flo magnesium flakes in a foot spa daily, which he started less than 2 weeks ago. Today he said he’s noticed he has less joint pain and his toes which used to curl up are now straightening. I’ll check on the tests available here. I will be switching from Remag to NOW liquid magnesium as Remag isn’t affordable for us. My husband was forced out of work due to health issues in 2017, and I had to retire to take care of him. Thank you for your helpful suggestions, I really appreciate it. We have good doctors but they don’t think outside of their training. For example I’ve suffered with fatigue and anxiety for decades. Nothing they did helped. My experiment with high doses D3 seemed to help so I’ve started again, and plan to take 50000 for a few weeks then down to 30000. I did read your chapters on co factors and realised I need to stop my vitamin A capsules and use betacarotene. I’m taking magnesium (800 mg in 2 doses), 20 mg Zinc, and will order boron from iherb. (Borax for consumption isn’t allowed here.) So thanks to you I have a plan! I’m also taking iodoral 3 times a week as I had very low iodine.
Here’s to good health!

JB-HI yeah another side effect of magnesium deficeincy is delerium confusion and hallucinations!!!! maybe if you get his magnesium levels up..he might be able to stop those epilepsy edicaitons
Magnesium deficiency as a cause of acute intractable seizures
Abstract. Clinical and experimental investigations have shown that magnesium depletion causes a marked irritability of the nervous system, eventually resulting in epileptic seizures. Although magnesium deficiency as a cause of epilepsy is uncommon, its recognition and correction may prove life-saving. Two case reports are presented which emphasize the importance of recognizing hypomagnesaemia in patients with acute intractable seizures.
