I developed asthma as an adult. My life was miserable. I wheezed 24/7. I could never get a full breath. And my coughing fits were debilitating. Of course, I was on every drug available, but even the steroids did not prevent me from using the rescue inhaler every 4 hours-but wanting it more! I was at a point where I just wanted to give up.
